What I Pieced Wednesday: 5

The second block for the We Can Do It quilt-along.

After seam ripping all of my first pieces due to lack of correct seam measurement, here is my Value 9 Patch.

Now, you may think, "that looks great!" (I would...just kidding) But, if you look'll notice that apparently one of my blocks was being silly, and didn't feel like lining up properly.

Oh well, even with my OCD, I wasn't about to rip any more seams for this block. (plus, both are white fabrics, so I'm hoping once it's all put together you won't even notice)

Plus, I learned/practiced chain-piecing.  Great time-saver, seriously.

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

  1. Chain piecing is the only way to go! :D Love the cross-hatch effect of the blue print!

  2. I love the colors, so cheery!! yay for chain piecing, it is also good for leader and ender projects.

  3. Those darn seams! That happens to me also. I really like the fabrics/colors you are using. Very pretty!

  4. I honestly didn't notice the seam being off until you showed the close-up! Fantastic fabric choices for this block, you definitely have the hang of value! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )

I love comments...and I try to reply to all by e-mail, so be watching for me (: (unless you're a no-reply blogger, then I'll comment back here!)
