What I Pieced Wednesday: 4

As you may know, I joined a quilt along to learn some basic skills.  With the help of this lovely little book, I began.

So without further ado, let me introduce you to my very first quilt block ever.

I'm pretty proud of it.  And I only had to rip out stitches once (if you look closely, you can see them on the little white square).

And, of course, I'm totally addicted already! (As in...I may need to go buy other fabric so I can start on a different block a week is making me go crazy! Though I'm sure it'll be great when school is back in and I'm super busy)

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

  1. Okay, breathe! That said, your first block is beautiful and you should be proud!

  2. Wow :D How fun to see someone's very first block! Welcome to QuiltLand!

  3. Love it! I've been wanting to make a quilt for awhile now!

  4. That's terrific! It's amazing how quickly the quilting addiction takes hold. The quilt along will be a great way for you to get started.

  5. Welcome to our world...we probably need to start a 12 step program...but we don't want to first block is fabulous. I would have become your follower but I don't see the link on your site, so I will bookmark your site for right now. If you need help just ask all the wonderful quilters here in blogland. Good luck!

  6. Martha, thank you! The link for E-mail or RSS feed should be right above my "About Me" and for a google follower should be right under the About me section. Let me know if there's still a problem and I'll see what I can do to fix it!

  7. GREAT!!! welcome to blogland.

I love comments...and I try to reply to all by e-mail, so be watching for me (: (unless you're a no-reply blogger, then I'll comment back here!)
