This is the fourth block for the We Can Do It! Skill Builder Sampler, a pinwheel block. I don't know why, but I didn't want an almost entirely white block in my quilt (at least not yet) so I used mostly patterned pieces. Here it is!
It took quite a while, but I love the way it turned out. I'm especially proud of my seams on this one...particularly here

ReplyDeleteI love how yours turned out! I'm going with orange, blue and green so it looks completely different. I love how yours doesn't have a solid!
ReplyDeleteLove your fabric choices on this block!
ReplyDeleteSo, so beautiful... I love the pattern and the fabrics that you chose for it! I have been wanting to jump into quilting for a while now, but the tension on my sewing machine is broken. BUT, I just ordered a new machine this week, so I am hoping to actually take the plunge once I get it! :) Do you know of any good online resources for a quilting newbie?
ReplyDeleteThis looks great, I hardly had any white in mine either. Love your choice of fabrics
